Geezer, if this is Railroad Tycoon in space, you probably need to be picking up Mail, too.  Those Mail cars always made the most money, so long as my delivery times were good!   :)

Well more goods will be added at some point, but not sure if mail will be one of them... :P

I haven't been able to get far enough into a game to get a good feel for it yet.  When I reloaded my last save it was messed up so I'll have to start again.  It's early access so bugs are expected and the dev(s) are very actively squashing them.  Not sure if this game is a one man show or not but one dev has been very active in the Steam forum discussions.
