I do like the idea of the mod and all the additional scenarios but it looks an utter mess without the counters.

no setting that i can see to use the counters only, but when you hover over the units the counters pop up, but more than one unit in a hex and the other counters aren't really visible. There is still the right lower box to get the units stats when selected. For me the figures match the map terrain better, but thats just personal choice.

DLC for Field of Glory 2 is imminent...you cannot resist.

Oh I feel pretty safe resisting until the campaign system comes out (Empires or whatever it is).

Then it's alllll the DLC available up through next year's week before Christmas. At only-God-knows how much off.

Thus the deepness of my strategy becomes apparent.
