So here's my messed up story for the night.  Not entirely sober and meditating on this one.  For years I performed as the villain at a renfaire here in the American Midwest.  There was this quiet guy I did the show with for well over a decade.  Able guitar player with a love of the classics.  We'd tell each other Latin jokes.

He posts today that his brother, Loren, has died.  Only then, after all those years together, did I connect the two.

Damned hard to explain to him how much his older brother meant to those of us reared on Caesar's Legions and Twilight: 2000.

And we'll not even discuss Traveller.

Amazing...
