I've been re-reading the books, and have just started on 4. I have 5 on order with amazon 'cause I aint read it yet.

4 is alright, but you are in for a slog on 5.  Reading Dance was like working at a job you used to like, but only go there now for the paycheck.  I'm hoping he saved all the good stuff for 6.

After finishing up the entire DS9 series, I finally watched Season 1 Episode 1 of this last night. Wasn't too bad but nothing really special either. I know enough not to get attached to any of the characters though. That said, I really hope Daenerys survives a while longer.  :dreamer:

You have a ways to go, bbmike, but the ride is well worth it. And it'll take a LOT less time to watch than to read any one of the novels.
