Thanks Martok - what you wrote above I basically posted verbatim about Dragon Age: Inquisition. So I think I'll dig PoE.

What I really have been looking for forever is an RPG that does cities well...massive Renaissance or medieval type cities. Magic and fantasy are ok to be in the mix too.

But a good RPG with quality urban environments in a classic era has always seemed to elude me. I was hoping for it in Skyrim 5 years ago but there were no cities...the settlements are barely towns.

PoE's cities aren't anything to write home about but functional and very pretty to look at. City rather than cities actually. But there is a couple of Drug Dens, one Bordello, and an Insane Asylum. And lots of attitudes that need adjusting.
