Huw the Poo

This is my Nekros Prime.  His abilities include resurrecting slain enemies to fight for me, and forcing corpses to drop additional loot which is invaluable in a game like this.  The machine floating above him is a Taxon sentinel.  Each sentinel has its own innate abilities; the Taxon can drain enemy shields to overcharge my own.  I never leave home without it!

I wouldn't leave home without a Taxon who could drain enemy shields either.   :)

Nice screenie!

Damn it Huw, stop luring me into giving Warframe another shot... I'm already playing so many MMOs concurrently.  :-\

What else are you playing?  Did you get as far as The Second Dream in Warframe?  I won't say any more if you haven't because major spoilers, but let's just say, it gets extremely interesting from there, to the point that some say it's where the "tutorial" finally ends!

This is my Rhino Prime (or Thicc Boi as some know him).  He's an ungodly tank.  His second ability, Iron Skin, confers insane amounts of armour.  I don't think I've ever died using this frame.  He's wielding the Gram Prime, the "heavy artillery of melee weapons".  It's slow but it's incredibly deadly and I've modded it for high crit chance.  One spinning attack with this (run > slide> swing) can kill pretty much anything in one hit.

Here's Thicc Boi hovering above Orb Vallis, the enormous open-world map that came with the Fortuna expansion.  He's using his Odonata archwing to fly.

Soaring above Orb Vallis:

To progress to the next planet you need to visit the junction (a kind of stargate) and defeat the spectre within.  Here's my Rhino Prime opening the Neptune > Pluto junction.  I've almost unlocked the whole starchart now!

Pillars of Eternity 2: Me and my posse are in Nerataka doing a little bar-hopping to relieve the stress of saving these ungrateful, uppity people from the Un-Dead and Ironclad automatons and such when, BAM, out of nowhere we end up in this Neutron Star pocket Universe-thing. Dammit! There aren't any bars here.  :idiot2:

That's my cat, 'Frau Nils'. She's one of the 'pets' you can find in the game, dogs, cats, birds, even a baby dragon. In the first game they just followed you around but in this game they grant Party-Wide effects and boost stats and such. Here she is.

So that cuddly critter has got some morale boosting effects.

Sir Slash

She's no slouch. And the best part is she can't get killed like the other NPC's.  :bd:

Maybe she just hasn't gotten to 9 yet.

This is my Trinity warframe.  She's a support frame, with abilities that restore health and energy to allies.  She is using the Striga skin which changes her appearance so much that you'd never know it was a Trinity.

For anyone who plays Warframe: I've been busy modding the hell out of my Trinity.  Her 4 can now heal 100% of shields and health of all allies within affinity range!  Even the 100 energy cost is no problem because her 2 effortlessly keeps everyone's energy reserves topped up too!  I was playing Defense missions last night and she was awesome; nobody ran out of energy and nobody died. :)

I've started playing it again a bit, but have yet to get very far.

Yay!  Let me know if you need any advice mate!

Here is my Nova Prime.  Nova is an antimatter specialist who can create wormholes.  Seen here, she's modelling the Boar Prime, a very fast-firing shotgun (4.67 rounds a second!) which is exceptionally devastating at close range as you'd imagine, however with a (default) magazine size of 20 you spend a lot of time reloading.

And here she is modelling the Dark Sword, a weapon which deals radiation damage exclusively.  Radiation is good against alloy armour which is worn by the Grineer and Corpus factions, and its status attack, when it procs, causes confusion which makes your enemies attack each other.

One small step for Jarhead, one giant leap for Grogkind...

My first steps onto Planet Hurston.

The city of Lorville off in the distance. Traveled here to check out the spaceship expo.

Alpha 3.3.6 is where its at right now. Stable, good FPS, lots of content, great areas to explore. So happy to see Star Citizen finally making great strides. Its shaping up to be breathtaking.
