I feel the dolts running the music business back in the '90s made some poor decisions considering the primary song(s) to push on the radio for some bands.  They fronted the more mediocre ones and left the greats little-known.

e.g.

and especially..

Good riddance to mediocre publishers.   :cowboy:

Even more drastic examples of poor selection...

Everclear's selected radio tracks were largely asspie.  These ate their shriveled scrote.

I'm a big fan of the Toadies and Everclear.  I saw Everclear twice in the early 2000s.  I had a chance to see Toadies in 2008, but it didn't work out.

One of my friends, Johnny Ray, is the vocalist for this group's debut album, so I figured I'd share.  O:-)

It's a power-metal song with (somewhat literally) hot babes -- but it isn't "about" what it looks like it's about, exactly.  ^-^
ICEBREAKER THESIS CHRONOLOGY! -- Victor Suvorov's Stalin Grand Strategy theory, in lots and lots of chronological order...
Dawn of Armageddon -- narrative AAR for Dawn of War: Soulstorm: Ultimate Apocalypse
Survive Harder! -- Two season narrative AAR, an Amazon Blood Bowl career.
PanzOrc Corpz Generals -- Fantasy Wars narrative AAR, half a combined campaign.
Khazâd du-bekâr! -- narrative dwarf AAR for LotR BfME2 RotWK campaign.
RobO Q Campaign Generator -- archived classic CMBB/CMAK tool!

He wrote the lyrics, too. (I guessed that was true, but I confirmed it a few minutes ago.)

Saw Everclear at a festival in Columbia, SC in 2000.

That is really good stuff. I'd even throw a bit of Interpol into the mix.

The guitar sound is definitely vintage 80's Cure.
