A very glowing review from a critic who was increasingly bitter toward the previous seasons:

Well, episode 3 was certainly different. I really don't like the new Tardis interior one bit!

I liked the idea that the Doctor always talks about meeting famous people from history and this was an episode where that finally happened.

And time travel can really suck depending on when you end up.
