rotating disk powered by magnets

if you have a wooden disk that can rotate with steel balls evenly spaced around the circumference, now if you have magnets placed near the disk that attract the balls , the disk will rotate a little untill the ball is close to the magnet, now if you have iron to shield magnetic fields from the magnets, and stagger the magnets so one attracts the steel ball and as it reaches the closest to the steel ball it starts to go behind the iron, now the staggered manet now is not at the closest to another ball , so it will attract the second ball , pulling the first ball behind the iron releasing its attraction to the first magnet. then the whole thing repeats giving you a rotating disk powered by magnets
