I knew Star Lord's character would be funny in the first one.  But Drax stole it every time.      O0

I watched the original again a couple of days ago, and was pleased (again) at how well it holds up despite a few problems here and there. Bautista especially grows on me as Drax each time I watch it -- although he and/or the director do bungle the payoff to the brick joke about the finger to the throat meaning death. The timing was too quick to re-introduce the concept properly, and the shot composition obscures Drax holding a finger to the henchvillain's throat.

Still, so many feels (even in regard to some subtle fanboy ret-canon, since a Novacorps' guy's family doesn't get killed unlike in the original story). And Ronan the Accuser remains an underappreciated villain; his actor has good comedy timing, too, as a straight man, though he rarely gets to show it. The blooper of him taking the dance-off challenge at the end (with that same expression on his face) is priceless.
