What is your favorite part of it? Even though I own it, I've never played it.

I actually enjoyed the story. I'm not much of a story kind of guy. I hardly ever read the quest dialogue. I want to get to the baddie and kill/loot, but this game I really enjoyed the quests and had a vested interest in the story being told.

Combat was pretty cool too and it's D&D!!

Also, the Aurora tool set is pretty slick. I"m ashamed to admit the hours I spent on that thing.  L:-)

Dammit. I wonder if this will cost 19.99 like other enhanced editions.

Sir Slash

Yes, the story was very good and quite intriguing at times. Better than NWN 2 which was just average as I recall. The game just looks too old for me today but then I look too old for me today.

Right you are. No better time to have something to sell that has 'never winter' in it's name than when half the country's up to their belly buttons in snow.  :coolsmiley:

Icewind Dale aught to turn a nice profit come mid August then.

That's a lot for an EE of an old game.  If I remember correctly, the Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale EE's released at $20.00. But if you were patient and waited for the holiday sales they could be had for half that, and now even less.

It's been a while since I played The Great Barrel Bashing Caper.

I think I have the Diamond Edition on my rig somewhere...I don't know if it's worth the re-buy.

Very much doubt I will.

Actually installed and played NWN Diamond edition a few months ago, on a whim.  Ohhh those character models and skins didn't age well.   :-\  Some post-processing effects aren't going to do much polishing on those turds.

The only reason I'd fire it up again is for the gameplay/campaign.  Certainly not for visual wowing.  I can still get the gameplay with the Diamond edition, so..  :-"

You're right.  Even if I did buy, it wouldn't get played.   :uglystupid2:
