My father-in-law has always been a packrat.  We moved him to a small apartment after his wife of 60 years died.  When my wife got back to Alabama, she had a velvet (small) tapestry, about 1.5 feet by 1.5 feet from the HMS Valiant (discovered via the internet).  Father-in-law did not want to hold onto it.  There is a rooster over the logo.

It has the logo "Valiant Yet Vigilant" and a list of embroidered battles she fought from 1940-1941.  The list is Matapan, Bardia, Oran, Tarranto, Tripoli, Valona, Norway and Crete.

I'm happy to mail this to someone who has a connection to the Valiant or collects British WW2 Navy stuff.  Please pm me if you are interested.
