4th Scenario -- more time -- 11 PZ gets a KG chit and might break through to the evaculation route.  They only have seven or eight turns (an afternoon, two night turns and some early morning) before the US 36 Division starts arriving.  The KG worked well for an assault when most of the panzer grenadiers were still on the wrong side of the Roubion busy changing course to back up the Panthers which have blasted across the Roubion elsewhere.

Anyway, here is the KG chit:

Late afternoon, August 22,  11 Pz is building up fast, the Panthers are across to the east, but the Free French are still blocking the main evacuation route:

At dusk the French start to pull back, giving 11 Panzer a chance at concentrating on opening an escape route.  Task Force Butler will probably shift to block the route, but this will probably let the panthers lose just as the rest of the 36th (Texas) division starts arriving in force just after sunrise:

After a rough night, the panthers are still there, but not going anywhere:

While around 9am on the main evacuation route, it looks like 11 Panzer and a lot of Luftwaffe field troops (light gray) are going to overrun the French:

Around 11am on the main evacuation route, Butler spends all his command points to rally the French and block the evacuation route while 11 Panzer starts pushing more to the east to keep the arriving battalions of the US 36 Division from trapping the whole effort against the river.

Mid-day on the 23rd -- historically, the Germans were driving through on the evacuation route at this point, but since Butler has been spending most of his command points to keep the French battalion rallied and supported, 11 Panzer and its attached Luftwaffe field training troops have not been able to clear the evacuation route.  On the other hand -- as historically -- this is the day 11 Panzer starts some serious attacks -- just as the 36 Division begins to arrive in force:

I stopped the battle when it became clear that the Germans were not going to get very far on the eastern side of the Rhone.
