Thanks, Nefaro.

My daughter had heard of this game and I thought it would be fun to try to play with her. I like that it's solitaire capable but she can jump in if she wants to.

I've actually had Darkest Night and all four of it's expansions on my table the past day or two, waiting for yet another play.

It's just so easy to break out and get started, with almost no prep time now that I sorted all the blight counters into a DVG deep dish counter tray.  O0

I have many great solitaire games but this one has been my most played in the past year.  Other favorites, like Mage Knight Boardgame, Sentinels of the Multiverse, Thunderbolt Apache Leader, and Eldritch Horror require more setup or fiddly bits & table sprawl that can dissuade me, considering how much time I want to spend.  Prep and breakdown time is more of a factor to me than I expected in the past.

For those of us who enjoy the popular solitaire play in Mage Knight Board Game, there is a new series coming out based upon it's mechanics.  And it's Star Trek:

Definitely one to watch for next year.

I can see how the hex-tile exploration and all the other mechanics in MKBG could fit an ST theme of exploring & fighting in a single starship.   :)

Nice, I'm watching this one now as well. Thanks for posting that!
