Europe doesn't have much of a military these days, but I sure wouldn't want to be on the pointy end of trying to convince them to change that.

I was reading that story and began to wonder how many CF-18's we have deployed overseas ? Hopefully, we still have one or two here in country for air shows and stuff  ;D

More news on Russia. All the fraking going on here in the US is helping to drive down the price of oil.

Commensurately, the Russian economy has taken a hit.

TJ is in Ukraine as one of the OESC observers, and these are the kinds of incidents he's investigating - a rebel artillery round missed the checkpoint they were aiming for and hit a funeral procession instead
