G'day fellow Grogheads!

I'm looking for a set of rules for Playmobil Figures (Very detailed little European figures), either being more of the Beer and Pretzels type (Musket does 12 damage u have 15 hearts) or a RPG style game, where there is a large Battlefield with loot to collect, shops, etc. I'd prefer the latter.

What I'm looking for is something that'll keep a 12 year old (me) and his little brother entertained for a while, because I've outgrown saying 'pew' and then getting into arguments about how that was possible.

What I'm thinking is like Pirate Wars, where you control the Pirate Ship and you raid British Colonies for loot and supplies, while the British try to blow you to Kingdom come.

Anybody have ideas?

there was a starting point here for a while, but I don't know how much the original author kept it going

The key to surviving this site is to not say something which ends up as someone's tag line - Steelgrave

Hmm....skirmish wargaming for kids.
You want to try FUBAR...available for free, here:  https://fubarwargames.wordpress.com/downloads/
A song of Drum and shakos by Ganesha games may also suit your needs, but you will probably want to simplify them just a bit:http://www.ganeshagames.net/product_info.php?cPath=1_7&products_id=49
Brink of Battle may also be suitable, but I haven't played it, only read reviews.  BGG linky  here:

and company website here:

And finally...these are also free, but don't know if they mano-a-mano or larger unit based:

I suppose you could also grab a copy of Skull and Crossbones or Privateers and Gentlmen RPG's and just use the combat rules.

Let us know how it works out.

Now, the problem is, how to divide five Afghans from three mules and have two Englishmen left over.

Fubar Medieval works pretty well for medieval Playmobil, especially considering the variety of weapons and equipment you can equip them with.

I guess I can implement Dragons and Magic into it too. 3 Inch Glory will do good for the British Soldiers / Pirates as well. Now I just need Western and Space, and maybe Dinosaurs or something.
