Short answer: if you like H.P. Lovecraft horror / occult / mysteries and card games, yes.
It's a bit bewildering but it drew me in and it's got a learning curve.
Also, if you get it on week 1 of release you get all future DLC free.
Rock Paper Shotgun gives it high praise.

Some cards are temporary ad expire and some actions take time to do but there's no 'mission countdown' as such.

I got it. Theoretically there's more or less nothing about it that I should enjoy -- but it is kinda fun and so far a good break from blowing things up. i like popping cards into the despair box thing. I'm not sure where the whole thing is going exactly, but so far it has been fun.
